Not one original Biblical manuscript still exists today (NIV Archelogical Study Bible, Page 1491).

What we have is the Masoretic Text and the Dead Sea Scrolls for the Old Testament.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5F5jSPuHfo

Another reason why bibles are not reliable is because of the Old Testament manuscripts that bibles are translated from.

Corrupted Manuscripts
The Old Testament found in bibles today is not even translated from the original Hebrew texts! They are translated from the Masoretic Hebrew texts (from the 8th-10th century AD), not the original Hebrew texts. By the time bibles came around (in the 15th century), the original Hebrew had been lost, both the manuscripts and the language. There is not a man alive today who knows how to pronounce or read the original Hebrew language.
Around the 8th-10th century AD, the Masorites took the liberty within themselves to add vowel signs to the original Hebrew Alphabet. The original Hebrew alphabet had only 22 letters and had no vowels. This 10th century manuscript is what all bibles base their Old Testament translations on.
Now, if one starts taking liberties within himself and says, "Gee, there aren't any vowels in this alphabet. Why don't I start adding these little points in there and I'll re-create something here. I'll just add what God left out. It was a mistake for God to omit vowels in His alphabet, so I must correct His mistake." What has he now done to a language that was perfect at its conception? Can anybody improve on God? Can anybody do better than God Himself? If God intended for the Hebrew alphabet to have vowels, He would have added them himself!
We are not to tamper with the Word of God or His ordained languages, i.e., Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, English, etc. We are not to take away or add to God's Word (Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32, Proverbs 30:6, Jeremiah 26:2, Revelation 22:18-19). But this is what the Masorites blatantly did! There is not one place in the Masoretic Hebrew where they can show that God ever authorized them to change the original language by adding vowel points to it. And by adding the vowels, they changed the words, and by changing the words, they have changed the meaning of these words, and by changing the meaning of words, they have changed the Word of God. And if they have changed the Word of God within the Masoretic Hebrew text, we must take care.

Two References
The Meaning of Words in the Masoretic Hebrew is Lost
The copy of the Holy Scriptures produced by the Jewish Publication Society, being the Jewish Bible, does not contain the New Testament. In reviewing it, we discovered some interesting things. One shocking observation was discovering hundreds of footnotes as the following:
  • Exact meaning of Hebrew uncertain,
  • Syntax of Hebrew unclear,
  • The traditional reading madhebah is of unknown meaning,
  • Grammar of Hebrew unclear,
  • Meaning of first line uncertain,
  • Meaning of verse uncertain in part,
  • Force of Hebrew uncertain,
  • Construction of the verses uncertain, etc..
  • This was very shocking. We are usually told the Bible is inerrant. The Jews were the guardians of the Old Testament who were extremely diligent to preserve the text that not one jot or tittle was added or removed. Nearly all Christian Bibles rely on the Jewish Masoretic Hebrew text for translating the Old Testament into current languages. How was it possible for the translators to produce an "inerrant" Bible, when the "guardians of the so called 'inerrant' Hebrew text", did not know the meaning of many words and passages?
The Pronunciation of Words in the Masoretic Hebrew is Lost
"The English names of the Hebrew letters are written with much less uniformity than those of the Greek because there has been more dispute respecting their powers. This is directly contrary to what one would have expected. Since the Hebrew names are words originally significant of other things in the letters and the Greek are not. Theoriginal pronunciation of both languages is admitted to be lost." The Grammar of English Grammar, 9th Edition, 1865.
A Maxim of Law states, "He who does not speak the truth is a betrayer of the truth." So, if people are doctoring up the truth intentionally, or they are not really speaking the truth, they are actually betraying the truth!
It is worth noting that, as far as the Hebrew text is concerned, the King James was translated from the Ben Chayyim Masoretic Text; named after Jacob ben Chayyim, under whose editorship it was printed in 1524-1525, while almost all modern English bibles translated since 1898 rely heavily on Kittel's revised Masoretic text; Rudolf Kittel was a German rationalistic higher critic, rejecting Biblical inerrancy and firmly devoted to evolutionism.
So, if the original Hebrew language has been lost, and all the Old Testament books contained in bibles are based upon a corrupted 8th-10th century manuscript that has little in common with the Original Hebrew Text, is God's Word still available to us today? Well, God has promised us that He would preserve his Word (1 Peter 1:23, 25, Luke 21:33, Psalms 12:6-7; 119:89, 152, 160, Isaiah 40:8; 59:21, John 10:35, Matthew 24:35). So, just where is God's Word preserved today?

    The Answer
There is a manuscript still in existence today that was around during the time of Christ in the first century. The Septuagint (also known as the LXX - the Greek Old Testament) WAS translated from the original Hebrew Text, 285 years before Christ, into the language that was then predominant in the world, Greek!

Talking Shoe Prophecy by Prophet Muhammad

The Prophet Muhammad predicted that one's shoes will talk:

Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “By the one in whose hand is my soul, the Hour will not be established until predators speak to people and until the tip of a man’s whip and the strap of his sandal speak to him, and his thigh informs him of what his family did after him.”
[Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Book of Tribulations, Number 2181, Sahih]

The True Origins of the Semities

A video affirming the pure desert origin of the Arabians (semites).
All through history the Arabian civilzations flourished in the fertile crescent, but the origins were in the desert. The desert region was significant because it was the source of the tribal federations that invaded the fertile crescent and established the ancient Arabian presence in Mesopotamia.

The Semitic religions are the collective fruits of the thousands of years of dwelling the deserts. Farmers and city dwellers didn't have time to talk to GOD and recieve his orders :)

Mesopotamia was Sumerian in the south and Hurrian in the north before the Arabian invasion in the middle of the 3rd Millenia BC.

A group of scholars have said that there were exactly 40 fathers between Adnan and Abraham (Ibn Sa'd Volume 1, Page 56, Al-Tabari Volume 2, Page 191, Tarikh Ibn Khaldun Volume 2, Page 298 and Fathul-Bari Volume 6, Page 622.

Another line was suggested in the poetry of Qusayy b. Kilab:

The last of the Banu Khuza’ah kings, Hulayl b. Hubshiyyah (Habashiya) b. Salul b. Ka’b b. Amr al-Khuza’i, gave his heiress daughter Hubbah in marriage to the hero Qusayy b. Kilab of people known as the Banu Nadr. ( Ibn Kathir 1.60, Ibn Sa’d vol 1 p.71 states that the forbears of the Quraysh were known as the Banu Nadr. Nadr b. Kinanah was Qusayy’s great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather.)

Adnan b. Mayda b. Mani b. Udad b. Ka’b b. Yashjub b. Yarub b. Hamaysa b. Qaydhar (Kedar) b. Isma’il (pbuh) b. Ibrahim (pbuh). (The History of Al-Tabari, Volume VI, Muhammad At Mecca, translated and annotated by W. Montgomery Watt and M.V. McDonald [State University of New York Press, Albany, 1988], pp. 38-43; capital and underline emphasis ours)

The overwhelming majority of traditions and Muslim scholars state that Adnan is a descendant of Kedar the son of Ishmael The Beginning and the End, Ibn Kathir, Volume 3, Page 203

    Qaydhar and Kedar

To learn more about Kedar see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qedarite

The references to Qaydhar or Qaydar are very important to those seeking to link this line with the references to Kedar appearing in various other places in the Old Testament, since Muslim scholars put these forward as possible texts prophesying the coming of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).   See Isaiah 42.11.

Many Muslim scholars see Isaiah 42 (21:13-17) as predicting the coming of a servant of God who is associated with Qedar and interpret this as a reference to Mohammed

    Adnan's Connection to Kedar

Prophet Muhammad traced his ancestory to Adnan (Tabari, Volume 2, Pages191-194).

From Adnan there were scholars who traced back Adnan to the Bibilical Kedar and from there to Ishmael and Abraham:

Ma‘add Ibn ‘Adnan Ibn Udad Ibn Zayd Ibn Yaqdur Ibn Yaqdum Ibn Amin Ibn Manhar Ibn Sabuh Ibn al-Hamaysa‘ Ibn Yashjub Ibn Ya‘rub, Ibn al-‘Awwam Ibn Nabit Ibn Salman Ibn Haml Ibn QAYDHAR (Kedar) Ibn Isma‘il Ibn Ibrahim.(Ibn Sad Volume 1, Pages 50-53).

    ... Muhammad b. al-Sa‘ib al-Kalbi, although I did not hear this from him myself, that he traced the descent as follows; Ma‘add b. ‘Adnan b. Udad b. al-Hamaysa‘ b. Salaman b. ‘Aws b. Buz b. Qamwal b. Ubayy b. al-‘Awwam b. Nashid b. Haza b. Bildas b. Yidlaf b. Tabakh b. Jaham b. Tahash b. Makha b. ‘Ayfa b. Abqar b. ‘Ubayd b. al-Da‘a b. Hamdan b. Sanbar b. Yathribi b. Yahzan b. Yalhan b. Ar‘awa b. ‘Ayfa b. Dayshan b. ‘Isar b. Aqnad b. Ayham b. Muqsir b. Nahath b. Rizah b. Shamma b. Mizza b. ‘Aws b. ‘Arram b. QAYDHAR b. Isma‘il (Ishmael) Ibrahim (Abraham).

    OTHERS RELATE: Ma‘add b. ‘Adnan b. Udad b. Umayn b. Shajab b. Tha‘alabah b. ‘Atr b. Yarbah b. Muhallam b. al-‘Awwam b. Muhtamil b. Ra‘imah b. al-‘Ayqan b. ‘Allah b. al-Shahdud b. al-Zarib b. ‘Abqar b. Ibrahim (Abraham) b. Isma‘il b. Yazan b. A‘waj b. al-Mut‘im b. al-Tamh b. al-Qasur b. ‘Anud b. Da‘da‘ b. Mahmud b. al-Za‘id b. Nadwan b. Atamah b. Daws b. Hisn b. al-Nizal b. al-Qumayr b. al-Mushajjir b. Mu‘damir b. Sayfi b. NABT B. QAYDHAR b. Isma‘il (Ishmael) b. Ibrahim (Abraham), the Friend of the Compassionate.

    STILL OTHERS: Ma‘add b. ‘Adnan b. Udad b. Zayd b. Yaqdir b. Yaqdum b. Hamaysa‘ b. NABT B. QAYDHAR b. Isma‘il (Ishmael) b. Ibrahim (Abraham).

    OTHERS: Ma‘add b. ‘Adnan b. Udad b. Hamaysa‘ b. Nabt b. Salman, who is Salaman, b. Hamal b. NABT B. QAYDHAR b. Isma‘il (Ishmael) b. Ibrahim (Abraham).

    OTHERS: Ma‘add b. ‘Adnan b. Udad b. al-Muqawwam b. Nahur b. M Mishrah b. Yashjub b. Malik b. Ayman b. AL-NABIT B. QAYDHAR b. Isma‘il (Ishmael) b. Ibrahim (Abraham).
    OTHERS: Ma‘add b. ‘Adnan b. Udd b. Udad b. al-Hamaysa‘ b. Ashub b. Sa‘d b. Yarbah b. Nadir b. Humayl b. Munahhim b. Lafath b. al-Sabuh b. Kinanah b. al-‘Awwam b. NABT B. QAYDHAR b. Isma‘il (Ishmael).

    Poverty of Prophet Muhammad

    1)
By Allah, if they put the sun on my right and
the moon on my left to leave this matter, I
would not, until Allah shows me otherwise or I
die trying for its sake. (Ibn Hisham, As-Sirah
    an-Nabawiyyah, Volume 1, page 265)

    2) Muhammad pbuh paid Muslims' debt inspite of being needy:

    bukhari Volume 3, Book 37, Number 495
    Narrated Abu Huraira:
Whenever a dead man in debt was brought to
Allah's Apostle he would ask, "Has he left
anything to repay his debt?" If he was informed
that he had left something to repay his debts,
he would offer his funeral prayer, otherwise he
would tell the Muslims to offer their friend's
funeral prayer. When Allah made the Prophet
wealthy through conquests , he said, "I am
more rightful than other believers to be the
guardian of the believers, so if a Muslim dies
while in debt, I am responsible for the
repayment of his debt, and whoever leaves
wealth (after his death) it will belong to his
    heirs."

    3) poverty of prophet Muhammad pbuh,

    Muslim, Book 009, Number 3507
I visited Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon
him), and he was lying on a mat. I sat down
and he drew up his lower garment over him
and he had nothing (else) over him, and that
the mat had left its marks on his sides. I
looked with my eyes in the storeroom of
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). I
found only a handful of barley equal to one sa'
and an equal quantity of the leaves of Mimosa
Flava placed in the nook of the cell, and a
semi-tanned leather bag hanging (in one side),
and I was moved to tears (on seeing this
extremely austere living of the Holy Prophet),
and he said: Ibn Khattab, what wakes you
    weep?
I said: Apostle of Allah, why should I not shed
tears? This mat has left its marks on your sides
and I do not see in your storeroom (except
these few things) that I have seen; Caesar and
Chosroes are leading their lives in plenty
whereas you are Allah's Messenger. His chosen
one, and that is your store! He said: Ibn
Khattab, aren't you satisfied that for us (there
should be the prosperity) of the Hereafter, and
for them (there should be the prosperity of)
    this world? I said: Yes.

    4) Muhammad pbuh chose a life of poverty:

    Saheeh Bukhari, Volume 4,
Book of One-fifth of Booty to the Cause of
    Allah, Hadith number 326,
    Umar ibn
Al Khattab says "So this property was
especially given to Allah's Apostle, but, by
Allah, neither did he take possession of it
and leave your, nor did he favour himself
with it to your exclusion, but he gave it to
all of you and distributed it amongst you till
this property remained out of it. Allah's
Apostle used to spend the yearly expenses of
his family out of this property and used to
keep the rest of its revenue to be spent on
Allah's Cause. Allah's Apostle kept on doing
    this during all his lifetime."

    5) disciples' witness over his poverty:

    Muslim, Volume 7, Number 324
    Narrated Abu Hazim:
I asked Sahl bin Sad, "Did Allah's Apostle ever
eat white flour?" Sahl said, "Allah's Apostle
never saw white flour since Allah sent him as
an Apostle till He took him unto Him." I asked,
"Did the people have (use) sieves during the
lifetime of Allah's Apostle?" Sahl said, "Allah's
Apostle never saw (used) a sieve since Allah
sent him as an Apostle until He took him unto
Him," I said, "How could you eat barley
unsifted?" he said, "We used to grind it and
then blow off its husk, and after the husk flew
away, we used to prepare the dough (bake)
    and eat it."

    Book 024, Number 5185:
A'isha reported that the pillow on which
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
reclined was of leather stuffed with palm fibre.

    6) Muhammad pbuh helped his wives in household works:

    Muhammad
(peace be upon him) used to milk his goat,
mend his clothes, repair his shoes, help with
the household work, (Musnad Ahmad, Hadith
number 23606 and declared authentic by
Shaykh Albani in Saheeh Al Jaami' , Hadith
    number 4937)

Comments on Various Arguements against Islam

Does Islam promote Violence against Non-Muslims?

the winning arugment here , is "if you offer us peace, we will accept it."
David wood tried to pull a fast one by reading the rest of the page, which
only describes what happens IF they do NOT accept peace.
Wood was also refuted on the pont that, the text of the Quran does not teach
to fight BECAUSE they are non-believers.

    Are Muslims worldwide Leaving Islam?

CNN put out an article on why people are leaving Christianity. They produced statistics from PEW research. This guy has produced no evidence that people are leaving Islam from PEW or any kind of bonofide research center. It's all his own personal opinion :)

People cannot refute the scientific evidence for Islam

he can not refute the scientific evidence for Islam.
