Refuting Every Anti Islamic Website/book/ Speaker and Other Critics of Islam

Refuting Every Anti Islamic Website/book/ Speaker and Other Critics of Islam/ Refuting other religions as well

Web sites Refuting All the Anti Islamic Polemics (Whether Christian or Atheist), Orientalists and critics of Islam. Please note there are SEVERAL Anti Islamic websites, Christian critics of Islam and speakers out there, I have listed all the websites which refute their criticism and agurements about Islam, The Quran, the Hadith, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Islamic Law/Shariah, etc.

BELOW I list several websites and youtube videos refuting various criticisms against Islam.

Remember most of the arguements against Islam are subjective and emotional-- not intellectual or rational.

(Note that some of these links have refutations of specific attacks on the Prophet Muhammad (p) that are all over the internet) (Christian, Atheist and Hindu/Sikh critics of Islam)

Refuting the Allegation that the Quran copied off the Bible/Jewish-Christian Apocryphal/Greek-Roman sources:

I would like to note that Muslims have already refuted all these claims that of the Quran copying off the Bible or other Judeo-Christian apocryphal sources. However it should be noted that we Muslims believe in something called "Revelation of Known Content" so when the Quran is mentioning previous stories which are also found in the Bible or other sources it is merely re-telling their true stories. This is one of the functions of the Quran (See Quran 5:48)

Refuting Judaism/Claims about the Old Testament/Debuking arguements for the Bible, etc

All Jews share Genetic ties/ Jews the world over share age old-Genetic ties (SO EUROPEAN JEWS, MIDDLE EASTERN JEWS AND SPANRIAD JEWS ARE ALL THE SAME): http://www.jpost.com/HealthAndSci-Tech/ScienceAndEnvironment/Article.aspx?id=177446

Basically the Jews believe in the Bible as the word of God. However both the Old and New Testaments can't be the word of God for the following reasons:

-Failed Prophecies (*) (*) (*) (note that none of these prophcies are found in the Quran and the Quran does contain furfilled propecies)
-Unknown authorship (how can be trust people we don't even know. To see the unknown authroship of many books of the Old Testament see Intoductions of each book in the Jewish Study Bible)
- Unknown sources ( how can we be sure that there sources are reliable when we don't even know what their sources are)
- Historical errors (which are unique to the Bible and not found in the Quran)
- Scienfical errors (which are unique to the Bible and not found in the Quran)

For more on Problems with the Old Testament and up to date scholarship on the Old Testament and refuting claims about the Old Testament please read the following books:

The Bible Unearthed by Neil Asher and Who wrote the Bible By Richard Elliot Friedman. I also recommend reading his other work The Bible with Sources Revealed.

For the authorship of many of the Books of the Bible, I recommend reading The Jewish Study Bible which can be purchased on Amazon which talks about why the authorship of the Jewish Bible is mostly unknown, etc etc. It is edited by 40 top notch Jewish scholars, from Conservative to Reform etc.

Also a good book in refuting claims of Conservative Christians on the Bible and other arguements for Christianity I recommend reading The Christian Delusion edited by John Lfotus, The End of Christianity edited by John Loftus and Jesus Interrupted By Bart Ehrman (2009) and Forged By Bart Ehrman (2011). To see Bart Ehrman's rebuttals to his critics see this site. I also recommend reading The Birthing of the New Testament by Thomas Brodie. The Mystery of Acts by Richard Pervo (Richard Pervo shows how Acts of the Apostles is a book of fiction, Pervo was also praised by Bart Ehrman on his facebook page as a fine scholar and very bright).  I also recommend reading the works of Robert M Price. To see how and Why Acts of the Apostles is a complete book of fiction see here and here.

ISLAM TEACHES THE BIBLE IS CORRUPT. SEE HERE.

It's commonly said that the disciples died for their belief in the Deity, Death and Resurrection of Jesus by Christian apologists. But that claim isn't backed up by any evidence and the journeys and deaths of the disciples is based on myths and legends. For proof that there is no good evidence for the disciples willing to be martyed for their alleged beleifs in the deity, death and resurrection of Jesus see here: http://www.daylightatheism.org/2007/06/how-did-the-apostles-die.html All there citations are from Christian enclyopedias and Gnostic Christian writings such as Acts of Thomas, etc.

Problems with the New Testament: Why the New Testament isn't reliable

To see the Problems with the New Testament, Why the N.T. is not reliable, Why the N.T. Manuscripts are not early and not reliable and all different from another, the canonization of the N.T. and other problems with Christianity I highly suggest reading Bart Ehrman's book Jesus Interrupted. The entire book can be read in PDF format here: http://islamic-replies.ucoz.com/Bible_Books/22916607-Jesus-interrupted-Bart-D-ehrman.pdf

As for 1 Corinthians 15:3-11 that Christian apologists use to "prove" the disciples believed in Jesus resurrection it's possible it's a fabrication. See here: http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/robert_price/apocrypha.html In any case 1 Corinthians 15:3-11 doesn't tell us what the Disciples were preaching or teaching in regards to Jesus. So this verse doesn't prove anything.

In regards to the disciples of Jesus and Paul not getting along with the disciples see here.

Who is Allah/Refuting False  Claims about Allah

Allah is the same God of the Jews and Christians:

The name Allah is not confined to Islam alone; it is also the name by which Arabic-speaking Christians of the oriental churches call upon God. (The Concise Encyclopaedia of Islam, Revised Edition, Cyril Glasse, Stacey International, 2001, p42)

According to Francis Edwards Peters, "The Qur'an insists, Muslims believe, and historians affirm that Muhammad and his followers worship the same God as the Jews (29:46). The Koran's Allah is the same Creator God who covenanted with Abraham". Peters states that the Qur'an portrays Allah as both more powerful and more remote than Yahweh, and as a universal deity, unlike Yahweh who closely follows Israelites. (F.E. Peters, Islam, p.4, Princeton University Press, 2003)

Refuting Arguements for Atheism/Agnosticism:

(Note that I include William Lane Craig here to refute atheism. Although what he says about Christianity and the alleged resurrection of Jesus can easily be proven false, I still believe he does a good job in refuting atheism and giving good arguements for the existence of a Creator (God). Thus props to him for at least coming up with good arguements for the existence of God and refuting atheists.

(As a Muslim, I would argue that the only religion that has evidence for itself is Islam. Thus other belief systems like Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Wiccans, Janism can be proven false just like Christianity and Judaism. Below I list a bunch of sites refuting other religions).

Refuting Iranian Zoroastrainism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Janism Sikihsim and other Religons/Faiths:

For a complete history of Iran, understanding who the Persians were and the history of their religions and the spread of Islam to them I recommend reading "A History of Iran" by Micheal Axworthy: http://www.amazon.com/A-History-of-Iran/dp/B001JYPKMY/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

To see the origins of the Iranians and Aryans see this: http://www.iranchamber.com/people/articles/aryan_people_origins.php

Basically ALL these religions Buddhism, Hinduism, Janism and Sikhism (which originated in India) can be proven false because there is no evidence for their myths and legends. The moral teachings of Buddhism, Jannism, etc are pretty subjective however I would argue saying there is no evidence that these religions (with all due respect to them) are true. An interesting fact is that Hinduism actually started out Monotheistic (worship of One God) and then later polytheism was introduced into it. Same with the Middle East, Monotheism was prevelant and then polytheism was introduced. So these other religions Zoroastariainism and Skihism also accept the Worship of One God, these religions are also Monotheistic. So it seems Monotheism had existed before the Abrahamic faiths. There is even some evidence that the Native Americans in their mythology that they worshipped the Universal and Ominiscent Great Spirit. Native American belief systems are pretty well monotheistic. In Islam we believe that all around the world there were Prophets (See Quran 10:47) It's possible that Allah sent Prophets to India but they were either killed or ignored and thus polytheism started in India. It's possible. So Monotheism (the worship of One God) did not just start in the Middle East. It's also been proven that Zoroastrianism (the most ancient religion in Iran) was originally monotheistic. We also believe that Allah (God) sent 124,000 Prophets and messengers to the World however Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Fianl Prophet and Messenger to Humanity. Anyone coming after him is considered a false Prophet. And indeed many of these so called Prophets after the Prophet Muhammad (P) have been proven to be frauds and fakes.

Hinduism is both polytheistic, and pantheistic.  There are three gods that compose Brahman – Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.  Hindus also worship the “wives” of Shiva, such as Kali, or one of Vishnu’s ten incarnations (avatars).  This is only the beginning.  There are literally millions of Hindu gods and goddesses – by some counts, as many as 330 million!

At the same time, Hinduism teaches that all living things are Brahman in their core.  In other words, all living things are Brahman, or god.  Enlightenment is attained by becoming tuned in to the Brahman within.  Only then can one reach Nirvana.  The release from the wheel of life that allows access to Nirvana is known as “moksha.”

The Hindu scriptures are massive, and were written between 1400 B.C. and A.D. 500.  The oldest of the Hindu scriptures is the Veda, which literally means “wisdom” or “knowledge.”  The Vedas contain hymns, prayers, and ritual texts composed from about 1400 to about 400 B.C.

Hindus recognize three possible paths to moksha, or salvation.  The first is the way of works or karma yoga.  This is a very popular way of salvation and lays emphasis on the idea that liberation may be obtained by fulfilling one’s familial and social duties thereby overcoming the weight of bad karma one has accrued.

India does have a rich history and it's been proven that India is one of the oldest civlizations on earth. In fact it's been proven that Europeans and Chinese/Japanese/Twainese/Camobians/Native Americans and other Asians actually came from India and moved to Europe and Asia:

Indians were a race called the Dravidians who came from Africa about 100,000 years ago, walked out of Africa and eventually settled in India. There was no "Aryan" Invasion of India that the British made up.

Refuting claims of Hinduism (the world's oldest religion):

Traces of Monotheism (Belief in One God) in Hinduism and in India:

Hinduism has no founder, nor any traditional time or place of origin; it emerges from the jungle as a continually evolving religious system.

According to history story, hinduism was originally a monotheistic religion. The early hindu's, believed in a creator, Brahma. But then Hinduism changed, and the hindu's introduced the idea of other gods, Shiva and Krishna. In addition, they introduced many other false gods. These false gods were not in the original Hindu teachings. Even Today Hindus don't consider Hinduism strictly polytheistic. There are different forms of Monotheism, Polytheism, in Hinduism. So it's misleading to say that Hindus are strictly polytheistic.

. The earliest Hindu literature, the Rig Veda, speaks often of “the Creator,” of “the One,” a Great God over all the other gods. He is called Varuna, and is closely related to the Zoroastrian god Ahura Mazdā (“Wise Lord”) and the Greek god Uranus (Ourania). Though an insignificant sea god in the current pantheon, Varuna was a prominent god in the ancient system, and the subject of many hymns in the Rig Veda. Zwemer writes that Varuna is “the most impressive of the Vedic gods. He is the prehistoric Sky-god whose nature and attributes point to a very early monotheistic conception” (1945, p. 86). This god is an ethical god, capable of great wrath or merciful forgiveness of sins. Note this passage from the Vedas:
I do not wish, King Varuna,
To go down to the home of clay,
Be gracious, mighty lord, and spare.
Whatever wrong we men commit against the race
Of heavenly ones, O Varuna, whatever law
Of thine we here have broken through thoughtlessness,
For that transgression do not punish us, O god (Rig Veda VII.lxxxix.1-3).

So is it possible that either Varuna or Barama is the first God of Hinduism then Hinduism starterd introducing more Gods into it's system? It's possible.

. Yet even then, Varuna is qualitatively different from Indra and all the other gods that follow him in the Vedic literature; he is less anthropomorphic and more majestic (cf. Zwemer, p. 88). Other Hindu deities act like humans in the same way as the Greek gods, yet Varuna is above that.

To see the history of Monotheism in Ancient Egypt, Iran, and the Middle East I suggest people reading this article:

http://www.nvcc.edu/home/docampbell/Monotheism.html

Wilhelm Schmidt published his clear findings in his massive study The Origin of the Concept of God, which showed the evidence that he had seen (over 4000 pages) from all continents proving that Monotheism was in fact humanities oldest form of religion.

To see evidence for ancient Chinese Monotheism before Buddhism came in see here: http://www.sourceoflightmonastery.com/chinese-monotheism.html

some western scholars argue that Zarathustra (Zoroaster) was the first monotheist with his devotion to Ahura Mazda.

REFUTING SHIA ISLAM

Refuting Shias-- It should be noted that the Shias follow the same Quran as the Sunnis do. However the Shias overpraise a disciple of the Prophet Muhammad (p) called Ali and curse the wives and companions of the Prophet Muhammad (p) which is considered a sin.

The Shias are mostly found in Iraq, Iran, the south of Lebanon, Azerbijan, Bahrian, etc. There are also a considerable amount of Shias in Yemen, Turkey, Kuwait, Pakistan, Afghanstian, etc.

Why is it important to refute the Shais? Because the Shais risk burning in Hell. When the Shias keep insulting the wives and Companions (disciples) of Prophet Muhammad they are going against the teachings of the Quran:

والسابقون الاولون من المهاجرين والانصار والذين اتبعوهم باحسان رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه واعد لهم جنات تجري تحتها الانهار خالدين فيها ابدا ذلك الفوز العظيم

And (as for) the foremost, the first of the Muhajirs and the Ansars, and those who followed them in goodness, Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them forever; that is the mighty achievement. (Quran 9:100)

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also said:

"Indeed the people of the Book before you split into seventy-two sects. And this nation will split into seventy-three sects, seventy-two are in the Fire and one in Paradise". And in another narration, "All are in the Fire except one." It was asked: Who is that one? He replied, "That which I and my Companions are upon" (Related by at-Tirmidhi (5/62) and al-Haakim (1/128). It has been authenticated by al-Haafidh al-Iraaqee in Takhreejul-Ihyaa (3/199) and al-Albaanee in as-Saheehah (no.204), citedhere)

So here we see that Islam teaches that the companions of the Prophet peace be upon him are the saved sect and were promised paradise. This is clearly because they understood and practiced Islam better than anyone else.
