Refuting the Argument: The Prophet Hates Green and White Jars
We read in Saheeh Bukhari, Vol. 7, Book 69, Hadith 501:
Narrated Ash-Shaibani:
I heard `Abdullah bin Abi `Aufa saying, "The Prophet forbade the use of green jars." I said, "Shall we drink out of white jars?" He said, "No."
What problem did your Prophet have with green and white jars?
Response:
The problem wasn't with the green and white jars per se. The problem was with getting drunk [1]. It's just that green jars were what nabidh was most commonly served with [2] and green jars were known to accentuate the taste of nabidh more quickly [3]. However, regardless of the color of the jar, the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade drinking in any jar.
In summary, the Prophet's (peace be upon him) commands had nothing to do with the color of the jars per se in that the Prophet (peace be upon him) gave a general command to never use green or white jars. On the contrary, they are permissible to use, but not for forbidden things as in the context of his statement.

3) Ibnul Jawzi in his Kashf al-Mushkil said: إنما نهى عن الأخضر لأنه يسرع فيه اشتداد النبيذ
